{"id":5586,"date":"2023-12-06T14:33:18","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T13:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.froyasalmon.no\/?post_type=recipe&#038;p=5586"},"modified":"2025-04-03T11:08:07","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T09:08:07","slug":"main-course-with-beetroot-marinated-salmon","status":"publish","type":"recipe","link":"https:\/\/froyasalmon.com\/en\/recipes\/main-course-with-beetroot-marinated-salmon\/","title":{"rendered":"Main course with beetroot-marinated salmon"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class='wp-block-froya-steps'><div class='content'><header class='steps-title'>Procedure<\/header><ul>\n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>NB: Start with the fish one day before you serve the meal\n\nProceed as follows<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Grate the beetroot (remember gloves!).<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Mix in the aquavit, peel from one clementine, salt, sugar, chopped dill and pepper.<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Find a glass mould and put half of the beetroot mixture in the bottom of the mould. Place the salmon on top and spread the rest of the mixture on the salmon. Put as much as possible on the fish. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge.<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>The next day before serving: Melt the butter in a saucepan, chop the parsley and add water to cover the potatoes. Cook until tender and strain.<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Stir the sour cream with the chilli.<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Serving:<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Lay out the rye bread and cut the fish into neat, thin slices. Spread the chilli cream on the slices and place the salmon on top.<\/div><\/label><\/li>\n                \n                <li class='wp-block-froya-steps-item'><label><input type='checkbox'\/><div class='richtext'>Serve with parsley potato and extra horseradish cream.
